How Do They Make Ugg Boots?

October 8th, 2008

Nobody saw it coming, but Ugg Boots have certainly taken the world by storm and become a huge fashion craze. Everybody whose anyone is wearing them! Austrailians know that Ugg means “ugly” but these woolly sensations are still everywhere. Wondering exactly how Ugg Boots are made and just what makes them so comfortable?

Genuine Ugg Boots are made from the highest quality materials, including sheepskin hide. You can buy knockoff Ugg Boots almost anywhere, but only the real deal provides the comfort and durability promised by Ugg. If they are not made in Australia then they are not authentic. Ugg Boots are just not made in China, so don’t be fooled. Buying Ugg-style boots that are not genuine will leave you with boots that are far inferior in quality. Translation: uncomfortable and smelly.

Warm in the winter and cool in the summer, genuine Ugg Boots are made from Australian double-faced sheepsking, usually Australian Merino Sheepskin. The highest quality around! Saving a couple of bucks will get you some synthetic fiber that’s not the same.

Some folks wonder if any animals are harmed during the making of Ugg Boots. The short answer is, the sheep is slaughtered. BUT, that sheep was going to be slaughtered for meat to feed people—it is never actually slaughtered to obtain the sheepskin. Sheep farmers obtain a secondary profit for selling the hides in addition to the meat. So, understand that the making of Ugg Boots doesn’t directly harm the sheep.

Sheepskins have to be preserved properly before they can be processed into boots. Tanneries use large vessels called paddles, that hold anywhere from 3,000 to 15,000 liters of salt water and slowly swish the skins around inside. This is a gentle process that takes about 10 days to get the hides properly tanned and ready to be cut for Ugg boots.

Step 1. Tanning/ Processing

The first step in tanning or processing of sheepskin is “Soaking,” which takes about 16 hours to complete. During this process, the skins are thoroughly rinsed in cold water to remove any excess salt or dirt from the wool and pelt. This soaking process is done overnight in a vat of fresh cold water.

The next step in the tanning process is called “Fleshing.” This part of the process uses a fleshing machine which removes any excess fat and muscle tissue from the underside of the sheepskins. This part of the process is essential for allowing more rapid and complete penetration of chemicals in the later stages of processing, particularly during the pickling and tanning stages.

After Fleshing comes “Scouring.” This 30-45 minute segment of the process uses surfactants at high temperatures (around 38 degrees Celsius) and takes care of removing dirt and lanolin (grease) from the wool.

“Pickling” of the sheepskin then takes about 16 hours. Before the sheepskin can be tanned, they have to be ) pickled. Pickling means soaking the skins in a solution of acid and salt. Adding salt prevents any potential swelling of the skins because of the acid. It’s important to lower the internal pH of the skins to somewhere between 2.8-3.0, which will allow the tanning agent to properly penetrate the skin.

The 16-hour “Tanning” step involves using chromium salts which form cross-links with the collagen, thereby helping to stabilize the skin structure and preventing putrefaction or rotting. This step is performed at room temperature, around 25 degrees Celsius, and around a pH of 2.5-3.0. Once the tanning agent (the chromium) penetrates the skin, the process is stopped, and the chrome is fixed to the collagen by raisng the pH to 3.6 using sodium bicarbonate and heating the skins to between 35-40 degrees Celsius. In doing so, the shrinkage temperature of the skin is raised to anywhere between 60-100 degrees Celsius.

Next comes “Wool Dyeing” or “Fatliquoring.” This takes anywhere from 3-4 hours to complete. After the skin is tanned, the wool may be dyed any of a variety of colors. Wool dyeing needs to be done at about pH 4.5-6 and at 60-65 degrees Celsius. Special “pelt reserve agents” must be added to keep the wool dye from staining the pelt. Once the dye is stable, the pH is lowered to about 4.0 to fix the dyes to the wool, and fatliquor (emulsified oil) is added to the solution. Fatliquors are part of leather manufacturing that help to lubricate the collagen fiber and allow them to move flexibly and freely once the skin is dried. This is what makes the leather feel soft.

Drying of the skins then takes 4-24 hours. Forced air dryers are used with the skins stretched across a frame. Drying occurs at 50-80 degrees Celsius.

Drycleaning must then take place over the following 4-24 hours. Either a white spirit (high boiling petroleum fraction) or perchloroehtylene is used to remove any natural fat or grease that remains in the skins.

Following final removal of the pelt grease, “Pelt Dyeing” or “Syntanning” comes next. Back in the paddle (the soaking vessel), the pelts are dyed in cooler temperature dyes (less than 30 degrees Celsius). This minimizes staining of the wool. After the pelt dyeing is completed, syntanning involves using synthetic tanning agents to make the pelts added fullness and firmness. Finally, the skins are dried once more.

Step 2. Finishing

After the lengthy tanning process is complete, the final finishing is done so the skins may be used to make Ugg Boots.

The skins must be conditioned to approximately 20% moisture content. Staking is the process by which the skins are softened and stretched, and a “nappy” surface is added to the pelt.

Final “Combing,” “Ironing,” and “Clipping” then takes place to remove any tangles, burrs, or grass seeds that may be remaining in the wool. The wool is straightened using an iron to remove the natural crimp. Lastly, a clipping machine creates a uniform wool pile at a desired length (usually 12-15 mm).

Step 3. Manufacturing

A “clicking press” is used to cut individual panels from the skins. After being cut to the right size, the panels are then sewn together using special industrial sewing machines. The soles are then glued to the boot upper, and, finally, the Ugg Boots are ready for you to purchase.

Current Sandal Trends From Around The World

October 6th, 2008

Are you ready to bare your feet this summer? Sandals perk up your summer wardrobe and let you get fun and funky with your casual clothing. This year’s fashion runways have a bumper crop of new sandal fashion trends from around the world. From thigh-high gladiator sandals to plastic jelly sandals, you will find just about any look you like in this year’s current sandal trends.

What do you get when you cross the gladiator sandal with UGG boots? You might end up with one of the latest funky fashionable suede bootie sandal. From the back, bootie sandal looks just like a low calf suede boot, loose and comfortable. The front of the boot upper is cut out into a thong style sandal with a bootie leg. It’s a look that defies description there is no way to make it sound anywhere near as cute as it looks. That’s just one of the newest popular styles for sandals this summer. Take a look at these others, from casual to dressy.

The Classic Flip Flop

Is there any footwear that says summer more clearly than the classic summer flip flop? Sandals have come a long way from the sponge rubber cutouts of the Sixties, though. This summer’s flip flop styles come in a wide range of upper materials, but the keynote of fashion this year is color. This summer’s colors are eye-popping, bright and playful. For casual beach wear, flip-flops with playful patterns printed on the soles and insoles are all the rage, especially when the thong-strap sports a motif from the print. Look for huge daisies in outrageous colors on flip flops with daisy-printed soles, worn with shorts, bikinis and sundresses. You can get away with flip flops for evening wear when you opt for transparent jellies with glittering rhinestones that appear to float above your feet, or invoke a casual down-to-earth look with braided leather flip-flops.

Thong Sandals

T-strap thong sandals are perennial summer favorites. This year’s most fashionable crop is made in bright and shiny patent leather in bright, bright colors like royal blue, neon green and fire engine red. Add accents in polished silver or gold, and you will be right in style for just about any summer occasion.

Casual thong styles include cut-out and embossed leather with either flat soles or low heels that are a great choice for days around town or at the mall. Sporty, athletic looks featuring heavy-duty straps in woven webbing are still popular, though the colors take their cue from this summer’s bright palate. For dressier wear, look for thong style sandals with tiny post heels and skinny toe straps, often sparkled with glitter and rhinestone. Wedge soles are back again, too, but they are much more feminine this time around. Cork is in but it is framed in patent leather to match the uppers, making a bold fashion statement.

Everything Old is New Again

It does not get much older or newer than gladiator sandals. You can play it safe with ankle high gladiator sandals, or go wild with the hottest styles strutting down the runway this summer season. Bright colors combine with metal rings or circles of leather to create a wild look, techno look that is anything but old-fashioned. Designers have taken new twists on the gladiator look with unusual materials and funky fittings like cotton canvas and sneaker eyelets lacing all the way to mid-thigh. Try out a different look with Goth-style gladiator wedges that use industrial fittings and rings, or wrap thin patent leather straps through loops to create a delicate ballerina look. If you can’t be goofy in the summer, when can you?

Slides and Mules and Animal Prints, Oh My!

Fit is fashionable and foot fashion is all about sandals that are good for your feet. Naot and Earth both feature fashionable sandals with negative heels and molded soles that encourage good posture and healthy walking. However, staying fit is not the only reason to recommend healthy sandal styles. Unusual prints and colors put fashion on a par with fitness and comfort. This summer, animal prints are everywhere, including on the vamps and uppers of some of the most comfortable sandals ever created. Because mules and slides offer very little in the way of support or stability for your feet, the sole and insole construction is extremely important. If you decide on a pair of this summer’s favorite fitness sandals, be sure to choose a pair from one of the better manufacturers so that you can count on high quality materials, excellent construction and soles that make your feet feel like heaven.

How The Ugg Knightsbridge Provides Both Comfort And Style

October 4th, 2008

UGG’s have been seen on feet of some of the most popular and well-known women in the world. Browse through the pages of your favorite tabloid magazine and you are sure to see a variety of celebrities sporting a pair of UGG’s. In many instances, the particular style of UGG boot worn by these women is the UGG Knightsbridge boot. The Knightsbridge is UGG’s classic tall style that keeps toes comfortable all year round.

Kate Hudson, Eva Longoria, Britney Spears and Kate Winslet have all sung the praises of UGG’s and have been photographed wearing UGG boots. Made of natural sheepskin and lined with shearling wool, UGG’s make use of natural materials to make shoes that make your feet feel like they just slipped into a little bit of Heaven. The photos of celebrities like these have contributed to the popularity of UGG boots, but they are only part of the reason that UGG shoes are a style hit.

UGG Knightsbridge A Fashion-Forward Boot

The UGG Knightsbridge boot is one of UGG’s tall boots. The wide toe box and boxy heel is right in line with this year’s casual styles. The multi-color side zipper makes them easy to step into, adds a fashion accent to the boot, and the selection of colors includes some of UGG’s most popular black, espresso, chestnut and tan. The UGG Knightsbridge has a slimmer leg than the UGG classic, and this makes the UGG Knightsbridge a great choice for wear with skirts, sundresses and other leg showoffs.

UGG may be one of the most in vogue styles of boot ever. However, there is more to UGG Knightsbridge than style and great looks. The level of comfort provided by UGG Knightsbridge is unparalleled but other stylish boots. This combination of style and comfort is why the UGG Knightsbridge has become so popular.

UGG Comfort

Originally designed to be worn in the outback, UGG boots have taken the world by storm. There are stories which explain that UGG boots were originally created to be worn by surfers on Australia’s beaches to keep their feet warm when they came out of the water. Take one look at UGG boots and you can see why. There is no doubt about the comfort factor when it comes to UGG boots.

UGG footwear is made with genuine sheep skin, one of the most naturally comfortable materials in the world. Australian sheepskin is so comfortable that it is widely marketed as the most natural and comfortable sleep surface for newborn babies. If sheepskin can keep a newborn baby comfortable, just imagine how good it feels on your feet. UGG shoes are made from the finest quality sheepskin, both inside and out, and are meant to fit your feet like a glove fits your hand. The UGG Knightsbridge boot is no different, made with an EVA outsole for cushion and lightweight comfort.

Unlike most other shoes, UGG footwear is designed to be worn on bare feet. Sheepskin has a natural wicking action that pulls moisture away from your feet and allows air to circulate freely around them. That means that your feet are insulated warm in winter, cool and dry in summer. When you wear UGG footwear, your feet feel clean and fresh all day long.

The insoles of UGG footwear are shaped to fit your feet. In fact these insoles are malleable enough to form around the exact shape of your foot. UGG boots are lined with shearling the softest, springy wool. According to wearers, walking in UGG boots is like walking on pillows. The lightweight soles make it easier to walk as well. Especially if you are on your feet a lot, clunky, heavy boots can tire your legs out. With UGG boots, this is never an issue. That is one reason why they are a popular choice with actresses for wear on the set between takes.

UGG footwear is also a great value. At around $200 a pair retail, they are certainly not bargain basement prices, but the price is more than reasonable for such quality made footwear. Each Knightsbridge boot is reinforced with double-stitched seams for long wear. The soles are also durable, made of high quality materials and molded to provide excellent traction on all types of terrain. If you care for your UGG boots properly, they can last for years.

Caring for Your UGG Boots

UGG boots are not too difficult to keep in good-as-new condition. First, remember that UGG’s are not meant to be worn in wet weather. If they do get soaked or dirty, sponge them off with cold water on a soft cloth, then stuff them with a soft cloth, towel or crumpled newspaper and allow them to dry away from direct heat. Do not machine wash or machine dry, and use a protective coat made especially for suede products to protect them from the weather and spotting.

About Shoes

October 2nd, 2008

Mankind’s first shoes were simply strips of leather binding the feet and tied with thongs. This allowed hunters to run further - and over rougher terrain - after their prey without injury. It also enabled them to go out in the snow and ice without suffering frostbite to their feet. In hotter countries, sandals were soon invented to protect the feet. The first shoes were made on straight lasts. That is, there were no right or left feet. They must have been extremely uncomfortable.

Once machines were invented that could vulcanise rubber to cloth or other materials, shoes like sneakers were well on their way. Their name was coined because these were the first shoes that didn’t make a noise like leather-soled shoes do. Rubber soles then became popular on leather shoes due to their longwearing properties.

Shoes are still about foot protection, but these days fashion often dictates the style. Many shoes - especially dress shoes - still have leather soles today. However, styles now tend to reflect an ergonomic design that is far more comfortable to the wearer. So while stiletto heel and pointy toe shoes will probably always be with us, at least the wearer now has a choice.

An Old Geezer Speaks: How To Prepare For Your Retirement

September 30th, 2008

How many times have you found yourself being bored half to death by some old geezer telling you how bad things were when he was your age? You know the stories I’m talking about.

When I was your age, I had to walk 10 miles barefoot in the snow just to get to school. And it was uphill both ways.

When I was your age no one bought me a car. I was lucky to even have a bicycle.

Ahh, starting to sound familiar, isn’t it. Well, how about , I had to get a job and earn my own money when I was only three years old. I heard that one too.

Yea, you’ve heard them all before. I heard them all too when I was a kid. Well, guess what, I’m not a kid anymore, now I’m that old geezer and you are about to hear it again. This time you are not going to hear how deep the snow was or how underfed we were.

This time I would like your attention on another subject. This time lets talk about MONEY. That is always a nice subject. I like to talk about money, don’t you?

Actually I don’t really want to discuss money as in the making of it, but more as in what you do with it.

Ok, here it comes again. When I was your age (wait a minute, It isn’t what you think.) I was about to say, when I was young I was also foolish. Very foolish.

I thought what money I earned was there to spend. I often even spent more than I earned. And of course, that was not a good way to go. It only put me into debt and pointed me toward the poor house.

Many times I had to use my entire paycheck to pay for gas I had charged at a local grocery store. (Back then a small Mom and Pop grocery sold everything from food and milk to gas and oil.) After paying my gas bill there was nothing left for me. I had to borrow if I wanted or needed anything. And again I had to charge my gas for the next pay period.

Managing my money was not something I was very knowledgeable about . That is what I’m here to talk about today.

How are you doing with your money? Are you handling it wisely? Are you managing to save any of it for that rainy day everybody talks about? I know it is hard to save. Most people don’t manage to save even a couple hundred dollars each year.

It is tough, too many things we need. Too many things we THINK we need. Before we know it the money is all gone and we don’t even know what we spent it on.

Ok, here it comes again. When I was your age….. we didn’t have the opportunities that are available today. There was no 401K PROGRAM, no IRA’s or KEOGH’s.

There was not a lot of ways to plan for a decent retirement. If you stayed on the job for 20 years you might have some kind of Company pension to help cover those years of retirement. That is, if you reached retirement.

I stayed on one job long enough to become vested in the pension plan and it sure was nothing to brag about. And it definitely wasn’t a lot of help.

My pension vestment only required 10 years for full vestment. What that amounted to was $10 a month for every year of vestment. I was there for 14 years and my total was $140.00 per month.

At the rate gasoline costs are rising I can’t be sure that amount will even fill my tank in the near future. And that is what I want to discuss with you today.

What does your future look like? Have you covered all the bases? Well, do you know where the bases are? Is retirement too far away for you to even think about right now?

I know, I was young once too. And like a lot of other people I thought I could worry about things like retirement at a later date. I didn’t have many options anyway.

The only opportunities I had was Social Security and what few pennies I might be able to put into a savings account. If I got a job and stayed there for 30 or 40 years I could build a pension which would be a supplement to the Social Security.

Well, thats exactly what I did. I put it aside for something to think about another day. I relied on a possible pension and a possible social security check.

By the time I was able to get my little brain thinking in the right direction, the direction of my future, I had dug myself into a pretty deep hole of debt. On top of that I now had a wife and kids who were always in need of something.

It seemed as though saving was now even farther away than ever. I had piddled my years away without a single credible thought of what I would do when my golden years finally got here.

Well, guess what! Those Golden Year did finally get here. And for the life of me I just couldn’t find anything golden about them. The only thing I found different was the fact that I no longer had to set the alarm clock.

I didn’t have to get up early in the morning and report to work.

There was not going to be a lot of travel to far away places. On Social Security and my little pension I would be lucky to travel to the edge of town.

There would be no dining and dancing in fancy restaurants. On my retirement I could pretty much count on Pork-n-beans and Hot Dogs.

No, I hadn’t prepared for any kind of future. I failed to take care of business at a time that it would benefit me. That is what this old geezer is talking about.

Start making things happen now to cover yourself when you become an old geezer. Even if it hurts a little put some of your earnings aside in some kind of interest bearing program.

If you start a program now by the time you are my age (the old geezer age) you could build a retirement fund that could be in the millions of dollars.

Shopping for Thanksgiving Party Supplies

June 11th, 2008

What do you plan on doing this Thanksgiving holiday? While a large number of individuals just have dinner with their family and then return home, you may be looking for something more. If so, you may be interested in hosting a Thanksgiving party. If and when you make the decision to host a Thanksgiving party, you will likely need to buy supplies for your party. Do you know where you can get those supplies from?

When it comes to shopping for Thanksgiving party supplies, you will find that you literally have an unlimited number of options. Honestly, your options will all depend on what you are looking for. For instance, you may find that you cannot buy food from the same places that you can buy Thanksgiving party decorations. That is why it may be a good idea to examine all of the locations that you may need or want to shop and then develop a shopping plan. A shopping plan is one of the best ways to ensure that you get exactly what you need to have to make your next Thanksgiving party a success.

Whether you are hosting a Thanksgiving party that includes a Thanksgiving dinner or just snacks, you will need to purchase some food. While it is possible to purchase food and decorations from some department stores, you may prefer to shop at one of your local grocery stores. Around Thanksgiving time, many grocery stores place their food items on sale, whereas not all department stores do. By looking out for great sales, you should be able to find all of the food, snacks, and drinks that you wanted, but at an affordable price.

It was previously stated that you should be able to purchase Thanksgiving decorations from traditional department stores. Of course, you can and for a relatively affordable price, but you may also want to look elsewhere. If you are shopping for last minute Thanksgiving party decorations or you are looking for the largest selection of decorations, it may be a good idea to visit a party supply store. When it comes to all different kinds of parties, including Thanksgiving parties, party stores tend to have a larger selection of decorations to choose from. While you may have to pay a little bit more money, you are almost always guaranteed to find what you are looking for at a party supply store.

In addition to shopping locally, in storefront retail locations, it may be a good idea to give online shopping some thought. In fact, online shopping may give you, hands down, the largest selection of Thanksgiving decorations to choose from. Online, you will, literally, find hundreds of individuals and retailers who are selling everything from Thanksgiving placemats to Thanksgiving centerpieces. You will also find that online retailers do not have to worry about floor space. That is why most online retailers tend to have a much larger selection of Thanksgiving decorations, when compared to most storefront retail locations.

As previously mentioned, a large number of retailers, especially those in storefront retail locations, are limited on the number of Thanksgiving supplies that they carry, particularly Thanksgiving decorations. That is why it may be a good idea to start buying your Thanksgiving party supplies early. In fact, the earlier you shop, the larger selection of party supplies you are likely to have access to.

Home Shopping The Smart Way

June 11th, 2008

When shopping for a home, there are quite a few things that can snatch your attention. When you look at a home, it’s very easy to fall immediately in love with it. New homes are clean, decorated perfectly, and many are what you pictured in your dreams. If you don’t shop the smart way though, you’ll end up like many other home owners and find faults shortly after you move in.

When you look at your potentially new home, you’ll want to check and see if you can fit your furniture in the way you want. A lot of homes these days are configured so that the furniture will only fit in one position. Often times, this leaves a television or other device in a weird location, sometimes making your furniture nearly impossible to fit through the doors. This is surely something to bear in mind, as you certainly don’t want to have to buy entirely new furniture.

You’ll also want to be sure that you get the right home for yourself and your family. Even though you may be a young couple now, you may want to get a house with enough room in case you decide to have kids later on down the road. If you don’t get a big enough house and end up having to move, you’ll find that moving with kids is a hard task indeed. If you have babies when you move, you’ll find moving to be even more difficult.

Once your children start to leave home, you may want to look into getting a smaller house. The choice is entirely up to you, and what will work the best for your needs. Anytime you purchase a house though, you’ll want to think about the size of your new home and consider the future needs of your family as well. This way, you’ll have everything covered for years to come and won’t have to look into getting a new home.

You may also want to look at any extras as well. Things like a pool and a hot tub may be a great thing to have, although you should look into the money that regular maintenance will cost you as well. There are a lot of things that may be great to have along with your home, although you should always look at long term costs before you purchase.

Location is also something you’ll need to consider as well. Some prefer to live out in the country, while others prefer the city life. Some prefer to be close to stores and such, while others prefer to be miles and miles away. The location of a home is very important, and in most cases will have a big impact on the price. Living in the city will cost quite a bit of money, although a home out in the country can cost just as much if there is a lot of land included with the property.

Whenever you decide to buy a house, there is a lot of things that you’ll need to consider. Buying a home is no easy feat, with a lot of things you’ll need to decide on. If you give yourself enough time and plan out your budget and the type of home you want, you’ll have plenty of time to make that very important decision. You never want to rush the process, as you could end up with a home that is less than perfect. If you take your time and look at several different houses, you’ll end up in your dream home before you know it.

Comparison Shopping When Re-Financing

June 11th, 2008

Homeowners who are re-financing their home for the first or even the second or third time should thoroughly research all of the available options to ensure the best possible interest rate and terms are secured. Homeowners are sometimes lazy when it comes to re-financing. There may a large drop in interest rates or a change in the financial situation which warrants a re-finance. Although the homeowner may be aware that a re-finance is warranted, the homeowner may not be aware that it sometimes takes a great deal of work to find the best possible rates and terms.

Homeowners are often inclined to re-finance with the same lender who granted the original mortgage or with the same lender who handled prior re-finances. The theory behind this reasoning is along the same lines as, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” These homeowners figure their current mortgage is adequate and they are happy with the current lender so there is no need to investigate further options. However, this cavalier attitude can be quite costly for the homeowners.

Try All the Options

Homeowners who are considering re-financing their home should contact a number of lenders and obtain rate quotes from each of them. When soliciting quotes the homeowners should consider all of their available options but should limit these options to established lender. While a newer lender may be offering fantastic rates and loan terms it is considered quite risky to go with this type of lender as opposed to a more established lender.

Homeowners who wish to further investigate smaller lenders who do not have an established history should proceed with caution. Unless the lender has trusted friends or family members who are willing to vouch for the lender, the homeowner should investigate these smaller lenders carefully. Visiting a website address is not the best way to ensure credibility. Designing a professional looking website is a fairly simple process. Most website designers could design and upload such a website in less than a day.

Friendly Competition

When comparison shopping for the most favorable rates, homeowners should make it well known that they are shopping around for rate quotes and are not making a decision immediately. Lenders who know they have some competition may be more likely to offer a lower interest rate than they would if they did not think the homeowner was considering other options. Although this may not seem quite fair to the lender, the business of re-financing is a competitive business. Just like a plumber might offer his most competitive rate if he knows the homeowner is seeking estimates from a number of different plumbers, lenders are apt to do the same. They make their money from homeowners and having a homeowner re-finance their mortgage does not help them out at all financially.

Some lenders may think the homeowner is bluffing and may not offer the best rate initially. However, if the homeowner rejects the offer and states they have a better offer with another lender, the first lender may be enticed to offer an even lower interest rate just to see if they can sway the homeowners. While cost is certainly important, it is not the only factor to consider. Some homeowners might re-finance with a lender who offers slightly higher rates if the homeowner feels as though this lender is more responsive to his needs.
